Nestled in the peaceful hamstone village of Chiselborough, less than 5 minutes drive from the A303, our historic inn, dating from 1580, is renowned for its warm, dog friendly welcome and the delicious, freshly-cooked food from our highly-rated kitchen – all served in a delightful, comfortable setting with warming log fires or in our beautiful country garden. As far as possible, we source the best local ingredients from independent producers and our highly-rated Menu changes regularly to reflect the seasonal flavours of Somerset and the South West.
